Social & Competitive Play
ChocCity Cornhole introduces two levels of play to ensure that everyone has a great, well-matched experience. Each week, we offer both Competitive and Social Throws, and which one you choose is totally up to you. Let’s break it down:
Social (Open) Play - Social play takes place every week as part of our meetups, either for a portion of the event or on designated boards. It is open to all skill levels and provides the perfect atmosphere to familiarize yourself with the game of cornhole, learn and practice your skills, and connect with other players.
Competitive (Tournament) Play - Competitive play also takes place every week, with designated boards reserved for those seeking a higher level of competition. Tournament-style play is common, and registration is required via Scoreholio (mobile-friendly). If you’re looking to hone your skills, play multiple games, and stay locked in on the boards, this style of play is for you. It’s not uncommon to play 4+ games in a night, spanning a few hours. We encourage players to matriculate into competitive play as their cornhole skill set grows.
Hosting two levels of play allows us to better accommodate both social and competitive interests, creating a space for players of all kinds. Whether you’re here to throw and vibe or play all night, there’s a place for you at ChocCity Cornhole.
